Tenterden Men's Shed

Welcome to the home page of the Tenterden Men's Shed

While we're in the set-up phase of the Shed we thought we'd give TMS its own space on the website. Once the Shed is up and running, a priority will be for the Shed to have is own website. Until then, if you're making enquiries about the Shed, or you're a member, head straight here for the latest developments.

We held a successful initial meeting at the Tesco meeting room on Tuesday 3rd September. For a report of the meeting and the agenda for the next meeting - click here.

Here's our potential new home. It's located at the end of Church Road.

Final negotiations will be started very soon with the St Mildreds Church Building Team. There are a few issues to be resolved, but from earlier discussions we are in no doubt that the will is there to reach agreement.

Clearly there is work to be done to cheer the place up. But make no mistake - with these premises available, TMS is in an extraordinarily fortunate situation. Few sheds are lucky enough to get such a flying start.

Here's a little curiosity.  During a Google search we found the following:

Was this a neighbouring shed we hadn't heard about? The plot thickened with mention of Tenterden as in the district. The clue was a mention of "blokes" and yes the shed is in Western Australia near the Frankland River.
