Social Hub Disability has its own extension at the Day Centre where clients can meet friends and other people in a similar situation. It runs regular trips and activities.

CARM - (Caring All together across Romney Marsh) - states its mission as being  "to support people living on Romney Marsh and its surrounding rural areas who are socially isolated."

Through this support they aim to improve people’s well-being, to help people remain independent for longer and to enhance the quality of life of the rural communities.

It offers one-to-one befriending, group meeting points and reminiscence services in care homes to older people.

"A listening ear" to support people, working in confidence to understand problems and find solutions.

"A community bank" working in co-operation with Kent Savers Credit Union to provide people with access to low cost loans and secure savings for their money.

The Hub aims to relieve financial hardship and distress of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill health, disability or other disadvantage through the provision of grants, goods and services and by education in money matters, debt and personal finance management.
